Guest hosting on MSNBC's Scarborough Country on April 12, 2006, Michael Smerconish interviews immigration inspector Jose Melendez-Perez, the man who prevented the intended twentieth 9/11 hijacker from entering the country - five weeks before September 11, 2001.  "I think that we have learned our lesson. Since we became Customs and Border Protection, we’ve taken care of all those nonsense policies that treated visitors from certain countries in a special way. Now only one set of rules applies to all,” Melendez-Perez tells Michael during the interview.
