The President gained television fame by uttering the words “you’re fired” but that’s an expression not heard in Trump 2.0, even now. Notice that Secretary Noem has more been exiled (Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas) than excommunicated. The cause is not so much her recent Senate testimony nor the $220M spent on ads – surely Trump saw her on her horse at Mount Rushmore as the ads were run incessantly on Fox. It’s a different set of numerical values that led to this action: The Dow down nearly 800, gas averaging $3.25 per gallon, and his approval rating (according to Gallup) hovering at around 36%. Those are metrics that command his attention more than a public expenditure on Noem’s PR campaign. Prepare to hear a lot more about Safe America Media and The Strategy Group, especially after Democrats gain subpoena power with a change of the House.
